This years Glasgow Youth Film Festival (GYFF) is jam packed with youth inspired, imaginative and artistic films that highlight; youth empowerment, youth issues and youth culture. Over this two week period respectme was thrilled to be approached by the GYFF to help raise awareness and promote Director Ruben Ostlund’s film Play, which explores key bullying themes. respectme staff will be attending this showing and will be distributing anti-bullying resources at this event. This free, but ticketed showing will take place on Monday 13th February 2012 starting at 18.00 in the GFT.

After the showing, there will be a special panel discussion about issues raised in the film. This panel will be made up of inspiring young people with a range of different experiences in film making, anti-bullying projects and anti-bullying campaigning. respectme are pleased to support a young person who we have previously worked with to be apart of this discussion panel on the night.
