Suspecting your child is being bullied or being told that they are being bullied can be an emotional and confusing time for parents, carers and the wider family. You may find yourself at a loss as to where to go and what to do next. You might have questions you want answered and need general guidance on how to best cope with the situation and make the bullying stop. This section of the website is designed to answer some of the questions you might have, to assist you in supporting your child and to point you in the direction of other agencies that can help. How you react to your child telling you they are being bullied is important in securing a positive outcome for your child. Download our You can make a difference - A practical guide for parents and carers booklet. We have developed some short video clips in conjunction with HandsonScotland which address; what bullying behaviour is; what you should do; what you should avoid doing; and some common misconceptions related to bullying behaviour.
