Adults working in a paid or voluntary capacity with children and young people play a vital role in their lives. In this role, it is likely that you will encounter circumstances where you feel that a child or young person is being bullied, is involved in bullying behaviour or where they disclose that they are involved with bullying in some way. How we react to this and how we tackle incidents and bullying behaviour is paramount to securing a successful outcome for that child or young person. This section is designed to offer advice, support and guidance which will increase your skills and confidence in dealing with bullying and its related issues. We have developed some short video clips in conjunction with HandsonScotland which address what bullying behaviour is, what you should do, what you should avoid doing, and common misconceptions about bullying behaviour.
