Once again we were overwhelmed with the volume and quality of entries we received for this year's Anti-Bullying Week competition. From posters and poems to films and short stories, young people from schools and youth groups across
Scotland
rose to the challenge and provided us with invaluable feedback on what bullying means to them.
Winners are being recognised at an event at the Piping Centre in
Glasgow
on 19 November, where a selection of entries will be showcased. A big ‘thank you' goes to all of the schools and youth groups who took the time to enter. Certificates recognising the time and creativity dedicated to all entries will be sent out shortly.

An independent evaluation of the impact we have had on our stakeholders in our first three years has now been completed.
The evaluation examined feedback from partner organisations at a local and national level, and collated views on the effectiveness of respectme in raising awareness and building partners' capacity to deal with bullying behaviour.
The findings were extremely positive, with substantial evidence that we have laid strong foundations in all of our key objectives in the first three years in operation. The report concluded that respectme has:
"Established the reputation of the service as being knowledgeable, credible and reliable in delivering Scotland's anti-bullying service".
Phase two of the evaluation, which will measure the subsequent impact on children and young people, is currently underway.
