Neurodiversity and Bullying

Neurodivergent children and young people can be more at risk of being bullied than their peers because of the different ways they communicate and interact with others. Their peer groups can often notice these differences more as they move through school /youth setting and act out prejudice-based bullying behaviours.

A child or young person may have many characteristics – being neurodiverse is only one example. Our Bullying and Neurodiversity course will give you a good understanding of the issues relating to bullying and neurodiversity and offers practical skills to prevent and respond to bullying.
